Anjuna Security is proud to have been recognized as one of the best companies for career growth and best leadership teams in 2024 by Comparably. Comparably is an independent, third party employee-feedback platform that recognizes companies in various categories every quarter. Anjuna was previously recognized for having the happiest employees in 2022, and best company outlook, best place for career growth, best CEO, and best company culture in 2023.

Anjuna’s culture is rooted in its core value: Care. We believe in demonstrating care for our people, products, customers, and communities. Care informs every decision and interaction we have, both internally and externally.

We are a small team without much hierarchy, so employees across all levels and roles have a lot of responsibility and autonomy. Our employees feel that they are able to do more and make a bigger impact at Anjuna than at other companies. Managers are encouraged to provide continuous feedback to employees during weekly 1:1s and end of week check-ins. 

Approachable and Humble Leadership

Our leadership team is very approachable and humble. They have their sleeves up and are working alongside the rest of the team to achieve our goals. Our leadership team is always willing to make themselves available to help an employee or attend a customer call. 

We believe in transparency. We host a biweekly All Hands where department leaders share updates and progress towards goals. There are opportunities for employees to ask questions and contribute ideas. 

Supporting Work-Life Balance

Anjuna is a fully-remote company. We understand that it can be difficult to separate work and home life while working from home, so we aim to support the whole person, not just the employee. We know that things occurring in an employee’s personal life can affect their output at work. We have provided employees with a food delivery gift card when dealing with a difficult situation. We also encourage employees to utilize our flexible time-off policy. We want employees to be able to take time off to recharge, handle personal or family matters, and focus on wellbeing. It is important that employees have the right set up at home to work effectively, so we also offer a home office budget. 

Staying Connected

It can be hard to stay connected as a remote team. The People Operations team facilitates a different employee engagement activity each month, such as fitness challenges, company-wide volunteer days, and prompts in Slack. The People Operations team also has individual quarterly check-ins with every employee to understand what is working and what can be improved. That feedback is summarized and shared back with the company, as well as what actions will be taken as a result.

At the end of the day, it comes back to Care. Every program and policy created is rooted in care. Anjuna truly cares for each and every employee and we believe that is why our employees thrive.
